A4: We use the flat rate of housing fund contribution according to the local policy. Overall housing fund rate has been increased in October 2012. It will not be he incorporated into consideration scope at this stage.

A7: According to the tax legislations, the travel allowance is taxable. Moreover, the current transportation routes cover most area of the Zhuhai city and it meets most staff members’ requirement. It enjoys great popularity among staff members living at downtown and Horizon Cove. From the consultation meeting and the survey, some constructive suggestions had been collected and will be forwarded to the responsible units to review and improve the current plan.

Q8: Is it possible to consider improving the staff members’ overall benefits, such as salary increase, bonus distribution or staff career planning, etc?

A8: The staff individual tax planning scheme focuses on seeking effective and legal ways to reduce the staff members’ individual tax burden, which is on the basis of no cost increase. To consider human resources most important, the College continuously finds ways to improve work conditions for staff and to develop the College as a place providing long-term career paths for staff. As you may know, a Task Force on HR Policies Review has been set up to look into the matters referred.
